It’s the last Friday of September! I can’t believe how fast the month went. The weather is finally cool and I think it’s safe to say fall has fully arrived here in central Minnesota. I’m happy as can be, as I love these cooler temps. It certainly doesn’t hurt that the weekend is almost here, too. Before you go to enjoy these last days of September, I wanted to share a few favorites with you.
Get Up, Stand Up! - This article tells us much we already know about the health benefits of getting up and moving around during the day, but I appreciated the information all the same. I’m always happy when my walk and talk breaks with co-workers are scientifically proven to be worth while.
I love a good book list, and this list of books that will motivate you to get your work done is fun and entertaining. I immediately trust this list because it contains on of my favorites by Gretchen Rubin, but it also contains one title I haven’t seen before and a few I’ve been meaning to read. I’ll be sure to check this list next time I need a book to get me out of a to do list slump.
I should start by saying that I’m not super fashionable. I count on my mom and a few well dressed friends to tell me if I look ridiculous, so I won’t share tons of clothing or style related things. However, I did buy this sherpa-lined jacket from L.L. Bean that looks nice and is so cozy. I’ve been on the lookout for a fall jacket for the last few seasons, so I’m happy to have this. This past week was the first time this season it was cool enough outside to wear it, and I know I’m going to get lots of use from this purchase.
I’m excited to spend some time with a good friend and break out my favorite soup recipe this weekend. I hope you have fun plans, too!
